Why should I consider the JOLT Program for my child?
Find out how your child can have a personalized education using a top rated curriculum, with support from the excellent faculty of Johnstown-Monroe Local Schools, through “teacher touch points.” This is a great opportunity for an overview of the Johnstown Online Learning Tools (JOLT) Program and to have your questions about JOLT answered.
Join us: August 9, 2016 @ 7:30 p.m.
We are pleased to announce that there will be an informational meeting for prospective online students. The meeting will be held in the library at Searfoss Elementary on August 9, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and learn more about the personalized learning program, JOLT.
New and returning students must turn in their JOLT application for summer session to the J.H.S. guidance office by August 1, 2016 to be considered for classes. Students that do not turn in an application will not be permitted to take online classes Fall session 2016. Their next opportunity to apply will be for the Winter/Spring Session 2017.
Every application will be evaluated using the jolt-rubric. Students that were not successful online this semester will not be permitted to reapply for the JOLT Program until the next semester.
